It is decision time and I had come to the conclusion that the Kubota L3430 would best suit my needs - but while visiting a couple dealers over the weekend, 1 of them mentioned that I could not run a 72" midmount mower deck with industrial tires. This is the first time I had heard of this - any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

According to the Kubota price list your dealer is correct. The problem is the front tires, the R4 fronts (ALR8869A) and turf fronts (ALR8895A). The RC72-38 MMM option is not supported with either front tire. ....

There are turfs that do match up with the mid mowers but it also depends on the make of the tires. ....

Thanks for all the input. I visited another dealer yesterday whom had the 72"MMM on the L3430 with R4 tires and test drove it. There appeared to be no problems on flat ground - per the dealer he stated that if you have the deck raised all the way up, there could be a chance that the front tire would rub the deck on uneven ground but he did not think it was a big deal based on the number of sales with this setup. ....
